CDEX Data Manager

The CDEX Data Manager allows the update of Check Data Exchange (CDEX) detail received from a CDEX remitter within SAP as opposed to manual manipulation of the original file. This is useful when a CDEX file loaded to the SAP CDEX Workplace fails in the creation of a payment posting desktop check due to check detail lines that fail the CDEX workplace edits. 

For example: a BTU factor is out of range for a single check detail line item. This one single line item can cause an entire check to fail in the CDEX Workplace. Waiting for an updated file from the remitter is often not feasible. Rather than manually changing the original file, the CDEX Data Manager allows changes within SAP to the line item directly.

To ensure there is a complete audit trail of changes., the user ID, time, and before / after values of the changed data are stored and available in the CDEX Data Manager.

Overall, this both saves time and eliminates the off system changes to the original file transmitted by the remitter.
