Clyde Echols, Managing Partner

Clyde is the founder and Managing Partner of EnergyByte Solutions with over 39 years of experience serving the oil and gas industry as a leader in Accounting and Information Technology.

He spent over three years from 1993 to 1996 as a consulting manager in the energy consulting practice of KPMG and many years in oil and gas industry staff and leadership roles.

Since the original development of SAP Production and Revenue Accounting (SAP PRA) in 1999 and 2000, he has been integrally involved with SAP PRA design, development, implementation and support.

He has helped enhance SAP PRA through client solutions that were later adopted by SAP into the standard SAP PRA solution.

He founded EnergyByte Solutions in 2002 after four years of working for SAP as an application consultant with focus on SAP PRA.

Clyde is an inactive CPA in the state of Texas.

Rob Schnell, Director of Business Development

Rob has over 30 years of experience with SAP development primarily serving the oil and gas industry.

Rob was part of the original development of SAP PRA in 1999 and 2000. He was the primary developer of the SAP PRA Ownership system.

Over the years he has been responsible for the development, delivery and support of the SAP PRA solution.

He has stayed heavily involved in the oil and gas industry, working for both SAP and the client side at various times.

He has stayed primarily focused on the continuous improvement of the SAP PRA product as well as helping numerous companies implement SAP solutions.

Robert Lee, SAP Technical Director

Robert has 29 years of experience with SAP development primarily serving the oil and gas industry.

He began his software development career in academia by co-authoring one of the first omni-data transmission tools before the popularity of HTML.  His career diverged to the oil & gas industry when he was employed by IBM and placed at Saudi Aramco in 1996.  Shortly after, his continued presence in the petroleum space was solidified by nearly twenty years of software development internally at SAP, including the development team of the SAP PRA project as well as multiple PRA implementations.

In 2007, he co-founded an SAP ISV (independent software vendor) and made available several certified ABAP add-ons for public consumption.
