History

Based in Houston, Texas, EnergyByte Solutions started in 2002 working with our first customer implementing SAP Production and Revenue Accounting (SAP PRA). This marked the first go live of SAP PRA for an exploration and production company.

We have a history of leadership in accounting and IT in the Oil and Gas industry. Since the original development started in 1999, we've played an integral role in the design, development and implementation of SAP PRA.

We've played a key role in SAP PRA implementations, from the first implementation of SAP PRA to a recent large-scale implementation of SAP PRA 2.0 (Roadmap) and S/4 HANA. In fact, it was the largest SAP implementation at a US oil and gas exploration and production company in SAP history. This company is part of a large multinational integrated oil and gas company.

We have extensive experience with Oil and Gas exploration and production (upstream) business processes and understand the importance of delivering timely and accurate payments to royalty owners, partners and regulatory authorities while managing the financials of an Oil and Gas company.

We also played a key role in implementing SAP PRA for the crude oil first purchaser function of a refining, marketing and gasoline retail company.

In September 2018, EnergyByte became EnergyByte Solutions, focused on delivering SAP solutions to the Oil and Gas industry, while still providing valuable consulting services.

At that time, we became an SAP PartnerEdge development partner ready to deliver new SAP solutions to the Oil and Gas industry.
